Chapter 276 - 253: Time to Get Up (2)
So Natasha still prefers the plan to totally mess up Sifrin. That way, Sifrin’s life is saved, and there’s no worry about her going out and blabbing—it’s the best of both worlds, isn’t it?
However, this approach demands skilled technique. Without managing to get Sifrin into a dreamy state of rolling her eyes and mumbling nonsense, there’s no guarantee of foolproof success.
Lynn does have the physical condition for it, but it’s uncertain whether Sifrin can withstand it. If her mental fortitude is strong, it might not be resolved in the short term; she would need to be pinned to the bed for some intense action long-term.
"First move her with emotion, persuade her with reason, and if the reasoning doesn’t work, introduce her to my fist. After all, it’s not a big deal. Can she really afford to offend me?"
Looking at Sifrin, who was sound asleep without any sign of waking, Lynn pondered for a moment before speaking.
He wasn’t caught out revealing his identity as the Demon Emperor by Sifrin; she merely knew he had snuck out once. Even if outsiders learn about this trivial matter, he could easily make up an acceptable excuse to smooth it over.
After all, no one knows what he was up to when he went out. No one witnessed him killing Hamman, and even if someone with keen observation realized the timing of his outing coincides with Hamman’s disappearance, without any evidence, who could even suspect him?
He is the Light Divine Envoy, the World-saving Hero, the most positive figure in the entire Miracle World. Under normal circumstances, no matter what happens, suspicion could never fall on him—unless he were to commit wrongdoing openly in broad daylight amidst a crowd, then there would be a case to discuss.
"So it’s that simple? I’m afraid it might not be foolproof, right?"
Natasha, upon hearing this, almost wanted to suggest something to Lynn. Considering he isn’t from the endlessly creative Dragon Race, he might not think as broadly as she does. If she said the wrong thing, she might not help him, but end up displeasing him instead, which would be a bit counterproductive.
Reasonably speaking, though, it shouldn’t be that bad. After all, although Lynn isn’t fond of Sifrin, this guy is actually quite attractive. If it’s just for fun and not marrying her, maybe Lynn might be interested.
"Such minor mistakes, a little bit of face-saving will do. Could I possibly have any shameful matter?"
Lynn said this with a lack of confidence but wasn’t overly uneasy. Anyway, him being the Demon Emperor was for Miracle World’s benefit, for world peace, and for sitting on that throne—not for any Demon Queens or Enchanting Demon Queens...
"So should I wake her up now? Then explain the reasoning to her?"
Curious, Natasha asked.
"Sure, wake her up."
Lynn nodded upon hearing this. He found it inconvenient to wake Sifrin himself, so Natasha should do it.
"Wake up, wake up! The sun’s burning your butt!"
Receiving orders from Lord Lynn, Natasha stood at attention, saluted, and then eagerly started working.
She plunged in, flipped over the sprawled-out Sifrin, positioning her backside towards the sun shining in from outside, and then started patting it like a drum, making crisp, crackling sounds.
Lynn looked at Natasha’s method in amazement. Does she usually wake people up like this? Heaven knows what Helena has gone through these years!
Yet watching Sifrin’s rippling waves due to the patting and hearing the quite springy sound, no one expected this husky-like girl to have such an impeccable derriere.
Upon closer inspection, it actually had a heart-shaped outline, even more refined than a peach.
Uh...
No peeking at inappropriate things, no peeking...
Lynn, suddenly realizing he was gazing at a cherished heart-shaped donkey bum, promptly suppressed this bizarre cross-species aesthetic.
"Ah, I haven’t slept enough, stop disturbing me."
Patti awakened Sifrin with her beating—awake but still half-asleep. Clearly, Sifrin had forgotten where she was, merely thinking it was her maid being naughty, so she grumbled snobbishly and turned over to continue sleeping.
"Still lazing in bed! Get up! Sun’s burning your behind yet you sleep!"
Seeing this, Natasha flipped Sifrin back over again, prompting a fierce butt-beating session, causing Sifrin to frown in her sleep, evidently quite annoyed.
"Burn the backside if you’d like! Just slap on some sunscreen, wasn’t that enough?"
Full of excessive "startup rage," Sifrin grumbled impatiently and began clumsily removing her sleep pants, appearing to genuinely prepare to apply sunscreen to her bottom.
Originally waiting for Natasha to wake Sifrin, Lynn could merely scoff seeing this brainless canine-like idiocy and turned his head.
But Sifrin’s irritated actions were even quicker than Lynn’s turn. Despite reacting immediately, he still glanced briefly.
Wow, Sifrin really was pale and elegant...
Then, there was no follow-up.
Because, realizing Sifrin turned out so frantic, Natasha wasn’t merely playing but went right into action.
Lynn, with back turned, didn’t know what Natasha did to Sifrin; he just heard the enraged and furious half-awake Sifrin suddenly shrieking like Tom having his butt pricked by Jerry with a big needle, then she was thoroughly awake.
Waking up wasn’t easy! If she hadn’t reacted swiftly and protected ’vital areas’ quickly, she might inexplicably turn from an innocent girl into a double-cross girl...
"Anything to discuss, tell me and act directly, but could you refrain from doing it to me... If it must be this way, let Lynn do it. Natasha, it’s not that I dislike you; mainly, we’re just not suitable..."
Now fully awake, Sifrin, rubbing her bum gently, whimpered softly before pulling up her pants and turning to Natasha behind her, pleading.
She had already tried last night; evidently, she wasn’t Natasha’s match, so there’s no use resisting—maybe she could persuade them to change people instead.
If Lynn shall partake, perhaps it’s tolerable, as he’s truly capable and seems handsome enough to pair well with her. But absolutely not Natasha—disregarding other things, simple gender issues do make them unsuitable.
Especially she isn’t human but a little female dragon. Everyone knows dragons are playful; she’s still a delicate flower—how could she withstand the little female dragon’s tricks...
"Quit the babbling nonsense; I’m not interested in you, and Natasha isn’t interested in you either. We let Natasha wake you for the purpose of conveying words—you’re a smart one. You invaded my bedroom last night, remained until now, and if asked later what you’ve witnessed and done here, you know how to respond, right?"
Lynn knows Sifrin, despite being cheeky, has a smart little brain. As long as he advises properly, Sifrin should grasp the meaning.
"I... I’ll simply say, last night you weren’t here, Natasha and I chatted long into the night, and then I slept here. When leaving, you still hadn’t returned, yes?"
Upon hearing Lynn’s advice, Sifrin sniffled, pondered briefly, and tentatively inquired.
"How could you... Uh..."
Upon hearing Sifrin’s honest-to-goodness plan to literally tell the truth, Lynn was about to correct her but realized immediately.
Oh, he seems to have neglected his persona to the public.
Sifrin, this pretty girl, entered his bedroom and remained till the following morning—later claiming he, Lynn, hadn’t touched her, even avoided any suspicion to directly move out and live elsewhere, not sleeping there at all—this is clearly flagrantly lying, fooling the ghosts!
Sifrin goes on this way likely to uphold her Saintess stature when actually she’s fully taken advantage of, feasting on crumbs behind closed doors. Claiming Lynn’s "absent"—so fine, yes, absent in public by dwelling on her body!
Ironically, if she "tells stranger truths," says they romantically bonded various times—it’s unreliable, partly due to Sifrin’s nature being partially dishonest, partly because Saintess ideals weigh heavily for her. Not only would she claim purity despite the potential pregnancy, she must uphold saintly visage utterly...
